Welcome to The Humble Witch Apothecary, a heartfelt haven for natural and holistic wellness in Newcastle Upon Tyne. My name is Elisa — a wife, mother, and proud grandmother to a beautiful granddaughter who lives with me and inspires me every single day. I am the founder of this little sanctuary, built from a lifelong love for all things natural.
From childhood, I believed nature held magical possibilities — even trying to make “perfume” from flowers and water. Over the years, that love grew into studying aromatherapy and massage therapy, until endometriosis changed the course of my life and led to a full hysterectomy.
My journey didn’t stop there. I began connecting deeply with crystals, but life placed them on pause as I battled chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, degenerative spine disease, and more. Then one day, my granddaughter mentioned a crystal she liked — labradorite. That small moment reignited everything. I’m endlessly grateful to her for guiding me back to my spirituality and the healing world of crystals.
Today, I am a Reiki practitioner and devote much of my life to exploring natural remedies and holistic healing. I have poured this passion into creating my own range of natural, handmade products designed to help my family, my customers, and anyone seeking gentle, earth-based wellness. One of my proudest creations is my Calendula Salve — made with only a few natural ingredients, yet loved by many for helping soothe and nourish skin conditions. And this is only the beginning… I’m crafting more natural products, so watch this space.

I just have to say what an amazing calendula salve this is from the HUMBLE WITCH APOTHECARY by Elisa Sz I have lost quite a bit of weight and because of this I have what is known as an apron wich is a loose flap of skin at the bottom of my stomach and this gets extremely sore and splits from time to time, elisa started making this salve and she was using it as was my son and they kept saying I should try it and to be honest I was sceptical but one day after I showered and dried my stomach i was really sore and enflamed so I hesitatently put some on and wow I was really surprised it never stung and within minutes the pain had subsided and was quite comfortable since that day I do not have a problem there as I put a small amount of the salve on after every shower and honestly there is no redness or soreness it's really helped me thank you elisa xx

I might be biast but this is the best salve I have used for my skin it's perfect great smooth texture and lovely neutral odour can be used all over the skin I use it under my stomach it eases within minutes when it is inflamed and sore, well done on the certification Elisa keep up the good work xx

Well my DIVINE delivery announcement may be a little bit behind with receiving it a week ago, but hey you knoe me...always late, worth the wait 👌🏻🤣
This home made elderberry tincture is super tasty...actually reminds me of my dad's home brewed elderberry wine! It's properties are known for so many health reasons and I'm praying this one helps naturally lower my blood pressure--instead of going to reside in my shed away from the nuthouse 🐾 🐾 🧒🏼👦🏻👨🏼 lol!
👁 The eye elixir...another natural product that I must say, I'm loving!!! Cosmetic coffee oil with a roller ball end to massage my bags. Loads of other eye creams I've tried have stung and irritated my balls 🤭 not this!
This oil doesn't aggravate my sensitive skin around the eyes, smells like fresh coffee and with being an oil, absorbs mega fast!
🌶🌶🌶 I'm yet to try the spicy salve but shall report back when I have. 🌶 🌶 🌶
